If you have decided to give math another shot, chances are that you will eventually find yourself fighting with your old experiences telling you that it’s not going to work. This is of course to be expected. After all, we don’t tend to embrace change with open arms. Nevertheless, it is important that you recognize when you are heading down this path of self-destructive thinking. I’m reminded of a skit that showed a patient explaining to her therapist her problem and being surprised to hear the therapist offer a very simple solution that required only two words.
Surprisingly, the solution can be applied to this tricky problem. In fact, I will refer to it often throughout this site, so you might as well, learn it. Better yet, apply it. Watch.
